THROUGH OUR EYES 2019
September 19, 2019 - January 20, 2020
This year’s theme “the REVOLUTION will be DOCUMENTED by the ARTISTS” challenge participating African American artists to create new works to interpret the concept of Revolution through conventional or non-traditional visual, performance, or mixed media works. Thirty-one national artists explore the universal and undeniable truths which stand the test of time. Whether their inspiration is drawn from personal wellsprings or ignited by the world around them, the artists navigate the converging lines between fact, fiction and fantasy.
