Young Gifted & Black: The Playground - Women in Photography

Join us at "The Playground," a community day open to the public throughout the duration of the exhibit. The Playground will encompass a day of various workshops, panel discussions, poetry sessions, and free entry into the museum. Fun for the whole family! 1pm to 2pm Board games, coloring and other activities

1pm to 5pm Writing circle hosted by UNF Africana Studies and Women Writing for Change. A tribute to Young Gifted and Black exhibition. Receive a giftsake journal for participating.

2pm to 3pm Women In Photography Conversation. Join our solo exhibit artist for a conversation about her path to being a woman in photography.

5pm to 7pm The Art of Spoken Word hosted by Ahynte Heard and special guest host Simonne.
