NEXT UP! is a new, one-of-its-kind series that showcases new artists who are preparing for live performances. This showcase will feature singers, instrumentalists, songwriters, comedians, spoken word artists, etc. performing original and standard material in a variety of genres.
NEXT UP! will alternate first Fridays with PUTTIN’ ON THE RITZ LIVE.
Each NEXT UP! artist will perform 1-2 selections. They will then receive 3-5-minute hands-on feedback/coaching from producer Deborah McDuffie, who will actively work with each performer one-on-one. There will also be an opportunity for positive audience feedback. The performers will then move on to PUTTIN’ ON THE RITZ LIVE, where they will perform for cash prizes, with the winner of the final December competition receiving a singles record production.
