Exchange: Struggle and Resistance. The exhibit will be open inside the gallery of the Ritz museum from February 3 , 2018 – June 8, 2018.
Opening Day / Family Fun Day: February 3, 2018
10:00 a.m. – Event begins!
11:00 a.m. – Headdress, Earrings and Things
Ahyanna Nakia and Jovita Harper will host an audience participation demonstration on how to tie variations of the headdress and the significance of proper earring pairing. A brief history on the textiles and fabric they use to create their unique perspective and one of a kind pieces. This is a lecture you don’t want to miss.
