Rental Guidelines & Procedures

Thank you for considering the Ritz for your event!

Here are a few things you should know as you begin your plans to host your special event at the historic Ritz Theatre and Museum.  For a detailed Rental Guidelines Summary, click here:

  • The Ritz Theatre and Museum is managed by SMG Jacksonville.
  • Due to liability concerns, outside technical personnel may only be utilized in addition to technical personnel contracted by the Ritz Theatre-SMG at the discretion of the Tehnical Director for the facility.
  • SMG/Ticketmaster handles all ticket printing and sales for our facility exclusively. There is a service charge added to the price of each ticket. Please refer to the Rental Guidelines Summary for Ticketmaster locations and additional ticket information.
  • A date for an event may be placed on hold for up to 30 days after licensee receives the rental estimate and contract documents.  If a signed license agreement and non-refundable, non-transferrable base rental fee deposit are not received by Ritz-SMG within 30 calendar days, the date will be automatically released.  All rental dates within 30 days must have a signed license agreement within 3 business days to honor date.
